MAKING HIGHLIGHTS HAPPEN
Last night I wrote about some of the things we do at the NHL Network, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Glad to see!
As promised, I’m going to write about how we make highlight packs for hockey games. We’re going to look at two games from Monday night, specifically the Rangers-Leafs game, and the Flames-Avalanche game.
NEW video: Why are people getting on Lundqvist? Who is the Devils’ MVP? Can I have more coffee? Watch for the answers! http://www.stevedangle.com/about-last-night-henrik-still-the-king
NEW video: Apparently the Devils and Rangers dislike each other. Also examining Tortorella’s eyebrows http://www.stevedangle.com/about-last-night-bench-boss-brouwhaha

Based on the text from James Mirtle’s article today, all of John Tortorella’s answers from today’s presser COMBINED add up to one tweet with two characters to spare. His answers were:
We’re fine.
No. None.
It’s a bunch of crap.
We don’t spend too much time on the other team. We worry about our team.
I just feel that way.

The new LFR video is up! Apparently Marian Gaborik is quite good. http://www.stevedangle.com/lfr5-game-76-scary-marian-nyr4tor3
Also being a fan of the Rangers, I'd like to ask this: the deadline is approaching, and the Rangers have obviously had fantastic chemistry with their lines as they are at the moment, but if they were to make a deadline trade, what do you think they could use the most, and who do you think they should move (if anyone at all) if they wanted to make a real run at the Cup?
Honestly - I wouldn’t want to touch them. Like you just said, their strength is their chemistry. Introducing a player to their lineup with 15 games to play doesn’t help that at all. At most, they should make depth moves. Another 5-6 defenceman would be nice and mayyybe depth scoring.
NEW LFR IS UP! Looking at the Leafs getting wrecked by the Rangers, possible moves, and Reimer vs Gustavsson
